Founder, Partner—Financial Services

Mike Flood is the Founder of Calibration Talent Advisors. Prior to Calibration Talent Advisors, he was the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Westwood Partners LLC, one of the most successful financial services-focused retained search boutiques. In that role, he has interviewed and assessed hundreds of analysts and PM’s on behalf of his clients. Mike’s entrepreneurial spirit and vision led to the launch of a venture business inside of Westwood, and he is a Partner at Connectivity Capital Partners LLC and the Connectivity Ventures Fund as well. Prior to Westwood, he co-founded The Capstone Partnership, another executive search boutique. He began his career in venture capital at Seaforth Investments but moved into search early on at Norman Broadbent, going on to become the Head of their Financial Services practice. He earned a BA from Albright College.

Partner—Technology

JJ has over 20 years’ experience in technology executive search. This includes hiring several Group CIOs at financial institutions such as JPMorgan and Barclays, where he ran MD and Director technology hiring for the past 10 years. His early career was on the agency side as a Partner in global search firms and since 2012 he has been an MD running high performing in house recruiting teams. His understanding of the technology candidate market as well as the internal issues facing clients is invaluable when solving talent acquisition challenges. A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion he is recognized as someone who has made an impact in this space for his clients.

Managing Director

Tanya Amaya joins Calibration Talent Advisors as a Managing Director. She comes with nearly 20 years of experience in Financial Services. Beginning her career in international equity sales, she then moved to client management and led complex, global client relationships across the Financial Services, insurance and FinTech Industries working in both New York and London. She earned her degree from Boston University and spent time studying abroad in both Paris and London.

Senior Recruiter

Olivia Lathrop is a Senior Recruiter for Calibration Talent Advisors. Prior to joining in 2020, she spent time as the Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Volleyball Coach for Dartmouth College. While there, she was in charge of sourcing and developing connections of top-tier athletes qualified for the Ivy League. She earned her MBA at DeSales University.

Recruiter

Victoria Lathrop joined as a Recruiter in 2021. She comes from a long tenure in hospitality management, where she used data analytics to improve reservation numbers and revenue by over 30%. She earned her Bachelors of Business Administration from Baruch College.
